Obituary for Alida Wiseheart
Alida Wiseheart, a long time resident of Milford, died on May 21, 2013 at the age of 90.
Born in Speedwell, Tennessee on December 5, 1922, the daughter of Walter Brewer and Verda Rae Wilder Brewer, Alida grew up in Tennesee where she was a graduate of Powell Valley High School. When she was eighteen she moved to Michigan where she attended cosmetology and business school. From 1943-1945 she served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Colorado where she worked as an x-ray technician. It was during her time in the Service that she met Walter William Wiseheart. They fell in love and married in Ohio on December 30, 1948. They made their home in Michigan and Alida took up work with GM Truck & Coach in Pontiac, and later enjoyed working in the cafeteria in the Avondale School District�s schools. They moved to Milford in 1986. Alida�s focus was ever on her family, and being a good mom and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter, in 2001, and is survived by her son, Kenneth (Regina) Wiseheart; daughter, Barbara (Jim) Conzemius; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and siblings, Claude, Keith, Kern, and Bill Brewer.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, on Thursday, May 23, at 2PM. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the time of service. Burial will follow at Milford Memorial Cemetery. For further information please phone 248-684-6645.
