Obituary for Andrew Thomas Hodge

Andrew Thomas Hodge, "Andy" as he was lovingly known to us all, except our father who affectionately will always refer to him as "Drew", passed away on September 18, 2020 at his home in Highland, MI.

Andy was born at Beumont Hospital in Royal Oak, spent his early years in Wolverine Lake, Farmington Hills, and his elementary years in Wixom. Andy spent the most meaningful childhood years of middle and high school in Milford living in Lake Sherwood. During this time Andy made a lifetime of friends, most of which he remained very close to almost 30 years later. Andy has spent the last 20 years living in Highland, and passionately working with Miles Bradley Building since 1993.

Andy was incredibly social, and always accepting and welcoming of all. In spite of suffering major accidents and successfully beating Cancer at age 24, he always remained extremely positive and always kept that enormous smile on his face. As much as everyone loved Andy, he seemed to love you back even more. If there is such a thing as everybody's best friend, it would surely be Andy. It was impossible to spend any time with Andy, and not leave without wishing for more...

Andy was extremely artistic and creative, and if you could imagine it, he could design and build it. Along with building, Andy particularly loved live music, snowboarding, traveling, spending time with his nieces and nephews, his cats, and even maybe a good tattoo or two. But most of all, when you were with Andy, he always made you feel as though his favorite thing to do was be there with you!

Andy is survived by his parents Thomas and Barbara (Krowk), siblings Jeff(Kasey) and Courtney(Tyrone), Grandfather Harry, and Nieces/Nephews, Beckham, Jake, Piper, and Sydney. Andy always remained extremely close and will now join his Grandmothers Jenny, Eleanor, Grandfather John Krowk and his beloved Zoe.
