Obituary for Betty 'Elizabeth' M. Hall

Betty ‘Elizabeth’ Mary Hall, a resident of Milford, MI. passed away with family close by her side on August 30, 2019. She was 78 years old.

Betty was born in Detroit, MI. on December 11, 1940 to parents, Mike and Dora Ventimiglia. She grew up in the Warren area and in her teenage years met a young man, Ronald Hall. They were introduced to each other by Ron's brother, Dennis. Soon after, Betty wrote a letter to Ron inviting him as her date to senior prom. He agreed, and they have been together ever since. The two were married on October 13, 1962 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Warren, MI.

The young family of three moved to Milford in 1972 and shortly after became a family of four. The couple raised their two sons, Michael and Ron Jr. at their home on Maple Rd. They had great fun together and even raised farm animals on their property. Betty and Ron spent summers boating and fishing on the Great Lakes and during the winter months would travel to Arizona and Texas in their RV. They really enjoyed each other's company.

Betty was a longtime member of the Milford Red Hats, A.K.A, “Spiced & Naughty Red Hat Ladies” and had many friends at the Milford Senior Center. She was a talented quilter, seamstress and a fabulous cook. Betty worked at local companies such as the old Milford Jelly Factory, Numatics, in Highland, and she was extremely proud to work as a Medical Assistant. She was a an optimist who always wanted the best in life. Betty was sweet, spunky, always upbeat and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ronald Jan Hall Sr.; sons, Michael (Marie) Hall and Ronald (Amy) Hall Jr.; grandchildren, Noelle (Mike) Kollmar, Victoria Gonzalez, Stephen Hall, Kevin Hall and Natily Hall; great-granddaughter, Hazely Gonzalez; brother, John Ventimiglia, many friends, and extended family members.
