Obituary for Brian Patrick Francis

Brian Patrick Francis, of White Lake, passed away unexpectedly on May 31st, 2021. He was 37 years old. Brian grew up in Commerce Twp., attended Walled Lake Central high school, and is a very proud graduate of Michigan State University (go Spartans!).

Brian had an absolute heart of gold. Any time a friend or family member needed something, whether it was help around the house, making donations, or just being a person to call on, Brian was there. Known as “Knuckles” by many, anyone that knew Brian loved his smile, kindness, and caring personality.

He was incredibly skilled at building and fixing things. From electrical work, to woodworking, to lawn care, he could do it all. Brian also had a passion for sports. He played hockey for many years, where his wrist shots were sure to find their marks. Brian was an avid golfer, and loved getting on the golf course with his many friends (mainly Kellen, Tim, and Adam) where he would out drive anyone. He enjoyed working out, running, and just about anything exercise related.

Brian loved all of his family members and friends. But more than anything, he loved his puppy, Keely, his nephew, Landon, and his niece, Sadie. Keely had his heart, and he loved her with all of it. Brian has pictures around his house of his nephew and niece. He had always told his family that his biggest wish was to be able to send them to college. Well, Bri, your family will set up college accounts for Landon and Sadie, both in your name, which will be funded solely by you. Thank you, and your wish has come true.

He is survived by his parents Sean and Denise Francis; brother, Kevin (Rachel) Francis; nephew, Landon, and niece, Sadie; his dog, Keeley; also many extended family and dear friends.
