Bruce Estes Sharp, 69, of Highland Township, Michigan passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Bruce was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on April 8, 1953 to the late Charles and Amanda “Vicky” Denny Sharp. He was one of 13 children. His family all were talented in music and singing and Bruce always felt connected to music all through life. He taught himself to play the guitar. Music always brought him peace.
In his free time, Bruce loved to fish, and truly enjoyed being outside, under the sky, and simply watering the lawn. He also loved wild animals, collected classic model cars and knives. He met his wife, Shirley, at a young age and always stayed together. They were married on April 19, 1969. He spent time living in Hartland, Michigan, Walled Lake, Holly and Fenton, before moving to Highland.
Beloved husband of Shirley for 53 years. Loving father of Lisa Whitner, Suzanne Chambers, and the late Brucie Sharp. Devoted Papaw of Stephanie Sharp, Gary Chambers III, Samantha Chambers, Merissa Whitner, Mercedez Sharp, Damarion Sharp, R.L. “Jaiden” Crane, Cam Chambers, and Eli Estes Chambers. Also survived by Gary Chambers, Jr., Brittany Chambers, and Ronald Whitner, Jr., who are all parents of his grandchildren. Bruce is also survived by eight siblings and was preceded in death by four siblings.
