Obituary for Carolyn Anne Brown

My life’s love has gone.

She birthed and mothered our two children, Emily Carolyn (Tyler) Alden and Lindsay Kirsten (John) Salvador. She was step mother to my children: Carlenne (Eric) Jarvis, Lisa Brown-Miller (Peggy Gustafson), Darren (Annette) Brown and Katie Brown. She has three surviving sisters, Kathleen Furstnau, Debbie Witty and Alicia Ferri.

We lived on Edgewood Park Drive, Commerce Township for forty years. She earned a B. S. and an MBA from the University of Michigan. She worked for Ford Motor Co., as a Product Planner and later for Met Life as a Financial Planner. She sang in the Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church Choir and played the flute when flute music was included in the music for the day. Grandmother to seven: Rylee, Zoey, and Jaxson Alden and Estella, Anthony, Maisie, and Theodore Salvador and step-grandmother to Courtney and Rebecca Jarvis; Alex Miller, Morgan Miller and Sonya Collins; and Kiera, Alyssa, and Emma Brown.
Born in Lewistown, Montana on June 28, 1945 -- For her final years she suffered the awful progression of Lewy Body Dementia, this beautiful woman died in --Commerce, Michigan on June 25, 2019.

June 28, 1945 --- June 25, 2019

It’s that dash which defines Carolyn’s life and my reason for loving her so; She was intelligent, hardworking, beautiful, lean, lovely, lively, and athletic. Skiing was her passion, on the water or on snow, she was beautiful. Music was her talent, singing, or playing the flute and the piano. Awesome! Damn, I miss her.

With all my love and hope for our eternal reunion,

Bob
