Carolyn Lee Dick, 74, of Milford, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
Carolyn was born in Livonia, Michigan on July 25, 1946 to the late James and Betty Van Winkle. After graduating from Riverview High School in 1964, she took college courses to become a paralegal.
Her kind ways, generous heart, great cooking and love of entertaining, served her well as she always enjoyed organizing all the parties for her family. Some of her family favorites included her brisket, steak, and just about anything she made. Carolyn always found a way to come to sporting events for her children and ballet recitals for her grandchildren. She was a devoted grandmother and always enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
Carolyn also enjoyed traveling. She was fortunate to see Europe, Hawaii, Arizona, California, as well as Florida to visit her family. She loved her dogs, and was always there when her family needed her.
Loving mother of Deanna Baker (Thomas) and David Lutomski (Paige). Proud grandmother of Faith Lutomski, Stone Lutomski, Blake Baker, Phoebe Baker, and Chloe Baker. Dear sister of Thomas Van Winkle, Charles Van Winkle, and the late James Van Winkle. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her best friend, Dale Welke, and great friend of Gerry Lutomski and the entire Lutomski family.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 2:00pm until the time of memorial service at 4:00pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381.
