Charles (Bro. Chuck, Pastor) Edwin Patterson, died peacefully on September 19, 2017, at the age of 81.

His journey called “life” was filled with many accomplishments: a passionate and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ; a loving and faithful husband of 53 years to Irene; a dear father to Walka (Michael), Tina and Tony; a dear grandfather to Hope, Anthony, Ashton, Brittany, Corey, Phillip, Thomas and Maria; great grandfather to Scarlett Rose; a successful businessman for Kmart International Headquarters; founder of “Open Heart Outreach” which ministered to the spiritual and physical needs of many and was awarded with “Outstanding Contributions to Mankind Above and Beyond Excellent Standards of the 20th Century Americans” in 1978; author of “There is Something Else” - a book dedicated to the difference that Jesus Christ makes in one’s life; established ‘Galloway Lake Day Care Center’ for children; served as Assistant to Mayor Wallace Holland for four years; a traveling Evangelist, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the East Coast to the West Coast; established “Our Father’s House Church” in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as Pastor for 20 years.

Bro. Chuck lived the “ — ”, from November 23, 1935 to September 19, 2017, to it’s fullest with much Passion and Zeal. ALWAYS “Running against the wind”.

Services will be held privately.
