Chuck Langley 75, of Highland, Michigan passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021.
Chuck was born August 25, 1945, and is survived by the love of his life, Marty Langley of 54 years. Much loved father of Clay (Joleen) Langley of Highland, MI, Amanda (Todd) Minikus of Lake Worth, FL. Preceded in death by son Matt (Nadine) Langley, and daughter Dana Langley. Cherished papa of Mattie Langley, Cooper and Tatum Langley, Colt and Langley Minikus. Dear brother of Linda Aycock of Northville, MI.
Chuck was an avid sports enthusiast, having formed the Milford Merchants travel baseball team in 1972. If you knew Chuck, you knew that hockey, however, was his favorite, having been a goalie himself for 29 years. He loved the sport and watching kids play. He coached many teams over the years, including his sons Matt and Clay. He was a fan his entire life. All will miss his smile, knowledge and skittles around the area rinks! Chuck was so proud to have served our country as a Captain in the Army Infantry as well.
When his son Matt passed in 2004, Chuck became very involved, and a big supporter of The Student Heart Check through Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Raising money from several memorial golf outings in Matt’s honor, Chuck was able to award two senior hockey players, (one from each Milford and Lakeland High Schools) a $1,000 scholarship for the past 16 years. In Chuck’s honor, the Langley family will continue this forward. Anyone wishing to make a donation can to:
