Obituary for Claudette A. Heath

Claudette A. Heath, a long time resident of Livonia, died on February 5, 2011.

Claudette Andree Bis was born in Fontenay, France on September 22, 1925. Claudette married and came to the United States in the mid 1940�s, first living in Kentucky, later Detroit, and in 1976 she moved to Livonia where she lived until recently.
Over the years, Claudette worked for Chatham grocery stores, Roma Hall, and J. L. Hudson. Hudson�s helped to enable her passion for shopping and in keeping with the latest fashions and wardrobe that she enjoyed maintaining throughout her life. Among her other enjoyments in life, she liked her sweets, and soap operas. Though Claudette liked time to herself, she enjoyed watching the news, keeping up on current events, talking politics and time spent at the Livonia Civic Park Senior Center.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Heath, granddaughters, Christina (Lamar) Gergis of White Lake, Michelle (Matt) Brooks of St. Petersburg, Florida, her great grandson, Gavin Brooks, daughter-in-law, Rosemary Heath and many friends at the Livonia Civic Park Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Homer Lloyd Heath.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty Street, Milford, on Monday, February 7, at 7PM. Visitation will be held from 3PM until the time of service. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made in her name to Henry Ford Hospice. For further information please phone 248-684-6645.
