Obituary for Dawn Brandow

Dawn Marie Brandow, a resident of Highland passed away peacefully in the care of her family on August 8, 2014. She was 53 years old.

Dawn was born in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Deloy and Judith Ann (nee. Reid) Dotson. Dawn, a longtime resident of Milford, attended Huron Valley Schools. She was a 1979 graduate of Milford High School. Dawn worked as an office manager for Great Lakes Press Repair.

Dawn married Tim Brandow on July 13, 1985 in a ceremony that was officiated by her grandfather The Rev. John Reid. Dawn and Tim raised two daughters, Dayna and Amber. Dawn loved spending time with her two grandchildren Colton Christopher and Eva Mae.

Dawn enjoyed life! She was always �up for something�, be it traveling, spending time with family and friends, or just joking around. She had a passion for gardening and loved to travel. In celebration of their 20th wedding anniversary, Dawn and Tim took an inland tour to Alaska.

Dawn was always compassionate, considerate, and gave far more than she ever asked in return. Loved by many, she will be sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched.

In addition to her husband Timothy, Dawn is survived by her daughters, Dayna Brandow and Amber Brandow; grandchildren Colton Christopher and Eva Mae; father, Deloy Dotson, siblings Derek (Sandi) Dotson, Dean Dotson, Dennis (Debbie) Dotson and Deborah (Dave) Fairchild. Dawn is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.

Memorials may be made in her name to Highland Township Beautification Committee, 205 N. John Street, Highland, Michigan 48357

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty Street, Milford on Tuesday, August 12 at 2 PM. Pastor Bryant Anderson to officiate. Friends may visit from 12 pm until time of service. For further information please call 248-684-6645.
