Obituary for Dennis Lee Miller

Dennis Lee Miller, 61, of Commerce Township, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Dennis was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Allen Park. He spent most of his life in Commerce Township, Michigan on Fox Lake. He started and ran his own business, Dennis’s Docks, LLC. He showed his love by helping everyone with their cars, boats, or really anything handy. Dennis never thought twice about helping someone who needed it. He loved spending time with his wife and children, waiting on his wife at her beck and call, boating, camping, traveling, fishing, going out to eat with friends and family, and running his beloved business. His favorite quote was “I’ll sleep when I’m dead”. He is FINALLY sleeping now. Dennis was not a complainer, and he was always on the go. There was no harder worker than Dennis Miller. He will be missed dearly by his wife, children, family, and friends.

Beloved husband of Susan for 29 years. Loving father of Peter Miller and Rachel Miller. Dear brother of Dave Miller (Ann) and Rhonda Jodway. Cherished son of Glen and Rachel Miller. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, his lake and canal people, as well as many employees and customers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to make a donation to Henry Ford Health System Hospice in Dennis’s memory.
