Donald Joseph Pozek

Donald Pozek was born in Detroit, September 29, 1950 to Mayme S. (Mattson) and Rudolph J. Pozek. He lived in Detroit and then moved to Dearborn. He graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1968. He worked for DRC as a groom and hot walker, roadie for area bands, Ford Motor Company, American Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines in Detroit, Colorado and California. After retiring, he lived in Detroit and attended college classes until 2010. He died suddenly on January 20, 2015 at Hunter�s Home in White Lake, Michigan at age 64. He was never married.

Don enjoyed horse racing, sports, especially Tigers baseball, Red Wings hockey, Pistons basketball and playing chess.

He leaves his siblings: Dianne (Philip) Cowen, Debbie Christensen, Darlene (Jordan) Truman, and David R. (Cheryl) Pozek.

His nephews: Nathan (Jennifer), Dustin (Jennifer), Joshua (Missy), Matt Cowen; Geoffrey, Brandon (Sara), Daniel Christensen, Christopher and Cory Parker; Kenneth Pozek (Holly).

Also surviving, 5 grand-nephews and 3 grand-nieces: Riley, Brandon and Jacob Christensen; Dillan and Olivia Cowen; Elyse Cowen; Jack and Emerson Pozek, and many cousins.

Cremation took place privately. Memorial Luncheon on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Highland House in Highland, Michigan.
