Dorothy Ellen Kimball was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 18th, 1933. She moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1946 with her parents, Fred and Adean Cutlan, her brother Charles and her sister Donna.

Dorothy graduated from Detroit Redford High School in 1952.

Prior to her marriage to John on January 31,1953, Dorothy worked in a secretarial position at the Dodge Division of the Chrysler Corporation.

In 1954 Dorothy joined John at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and on November 7th, their daughter Deana was born. John, Deanas brother was born in Detroit in 1958.

Dorothys number one interest was her family, her church, her home and it stayed that way her whole life.

She enjoyed floral design, cooking, entertaining, golf, and most of all her grandchildren.
Dorothy was active at Christ Lutheran Church as a Sunday School teacher, member of the Lutheran Womens League and taught vacation bible school.

Dorothys real passion was chairing the decoration committee at Christmas time.
Dorothy chaired the committee for several years and put her whole heart and love into it. Dorothy enjoyed her flower garden but found it difficult to manage the last few years.

My children and I, my grandchildren and her wonderful friends and family will miss her deeply.

Thank you for all your support and prayers.
