Obituary for Eleanor Goebel

Eleanor Goebel, beloved wife of 62 years to John Goebel, who preceded her in death in 2012, died on October 27, 2015 at the age of 85.

Cherished mother of Hank (Doreen) Goebel, Karl (Kristin) Goebel, Mary (Larry) Ocwieja, and Lisa (John) Morgan. Treasured grandmother of Jodi and Scott Ternus, Mark Goebel, Amanda (Jonathan) Hemingway, John (Meka) Goebel, Montgomery Ocwieja, Eric (Lindsey) Ocwieja, Ryan (Kristin), Theo, and Annabel Morgan, and 8 great grandchildren. Eleanor is also survived by siblings, Olga, Dolores, Mary, Jim, Karen, Donald, and Darlene as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers Victor and John. Eleanor was a long-time resident of southeast Michigan. In 1987 she and John retired to Ocala, Florida, spending 25 more wonderful years together.

Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty, Milford on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 AM with gathering beginning at 10AM. Burial Milford Memorial Cemetery.
