Ellen Ida Page, 84, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Ellen was born on February 9, 1938 in Highland Park, Michigan, the only child of the late George and Helen Wenskay. She was raised in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from Dearborn High School in 1956.
It was while working for Ford Motor Co. that Ellen would meet her future husband, Eugene Howard Page while with friends at a bowling alley. The two were married in 1965 and started a family raising three children. After her twin boys were born, Ellen left Ford and stayed home to care for her family.
She lived in Dearborn from 1973 until 1991 when Eugene took an early retirement and the two of them moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene and in 2015 moved back to Michigan to be closer to family.
In her free time, Ellen loved to travel the world. She had spent time on almost every continent. She enjoyed taking cruises all over the world including some to not only the Caribbean, Alaska, and Hawaii, but also in South America, Australia, China, and Japan to name a few. She also spent time working as an Angel for senior citizens who needed help in day to day life. In her later years, she also enjoyed cross stitching and was very talented. She enjoyed every moment and truly was a life well lived.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene for 44 years. Loving mother of David Page, Douglas Page, and Sandra Davidson (Lawrence). Proud grandmother of Amanda Page, Anthony Davidson, Paige Davidson, and the late Britney Page. She is also survived by her step-children, Valerie Berard (Dean), Alan Page (Louise) and their families.
Services are being held privately.
