Eric Jay-Linden Ludden, age 38 and a resident of New Hudson, passed away on November 22, 2011.
Born the oldest of six siblings to Harley and Nancy (Rife) Ludden on April 27, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, Eric grew up in the Fenton and Linden area. After graduating high school he went on to attend Michigan State University, where he graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor Degree in Finance. He worked in the banking industry for many years as a loan officer with NBD, First Bank of Chicago, Chase, Bank One and was with Comerica Banks for 10 years, and most recently North Star Bank where he was a commercial loan officer.
Eric and April met at a Halloween party, fell in love, and would marry on January 6, 1996 in Yale, Michigan.
He enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan, Houghton Lake and the St. Clair River, and passed this love of fishing on to his sons, Alex and Nicholas, and would take them on chartered trips in the waters off of Florida. Eric�s other interests included football, golfing and music. He sang in the choir at Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi.
He is survived by his beloved wife, April, and sons, Alex and Nicholas; parents, Harley and Nancy Ludden; siblings, Angie (Matt) Mittleman, Paul (Kristie) Ludden, Naomi (Mike) Zook, Rebekah Ludden, BethAnne (Rodney) Towner; in-laws, Don and Lynn Cook; brother-in-law, Troy (Jenny) Cook; sister-in-law, Michelle (Cory) Garcia; grandfather-in-law, Glen Holcomb; nephews and nieces, Austin, Aaron & Abbie Fuchs, Rebekah, Rachel, & Luke Ludden, Tyce & Tracer Towner, Coty & Austin Cook, Tressa, Gabriel, and Elijah Garcia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, loving friends, colleagues, and clients.
A Funeral Service will be held at Oak Pointe Church, 50200 W. 10 Mile Road, Novi, MI 48374, on Saturday, November 26, at 11AM with Pastor Rod Rhoad officiating. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery, Mussey Twp. Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty, Milford, Friday 2-9PM and Saturday at the church from 10AM until the time of service. Memorials may be made in his name to the Ludden family college fund, checks payable to April Ludden. For further information please phone 248-684-6645.
