Obituary for George Carl Hayden

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Carl Hayden of Milford, MI. He passed away surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 73. George is survived by his wife Roberta of 52 years, his children George Hayden and Deanna (Ryan) Stevenson; three adored grandchildren; Hayden, Liam and Addison; and sister, Adele (Don) Hartop. He was a family man and always put them first.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Gladys Hayden; brother, John (Judy) Hayden.

George served in the Navy and will be buried with military honors. He retired from GM’s Cadillac division after 30 years. He spent most of his retirement volunteering and serving his community. George earned the Rotary Club Paul Harris Award. He helped build homes through Habitat For Humanity. There were countless other volunteer projects he was a part of. He came out of retirement to start up Snowbird Drivers, LLC. George will be remembered for all of his accomplishments and the lives that he touched.

His Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milford at 11 am. There will be a private burial for family only following the service. In lieu of flowers George would like contributions made to:
