Glenn Hardwick Oliver, 53, and beloved husband of Brenda for 26 years, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Glenn was born in Pontiac, Michigan January 24, 1968, the youngest child of four children.
A 1985 graduate of Pontiac Central High School, Glenn went on to receive his undergrad in 1989 at Michigan State University and became a lifelong Sparty fan. While in East Lansing, Glenn met the love of his life, Brenda Bremer and the two of them would marry on October 8, 1994. Glenn obtained his juris doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School and was a man dedicated to helping people, especially those who were injured. He worked with Mindell Law in Bingham Farms, Michigan for over 20 years.
Family was everything to Glenn. He and his three siblings maintained a lifelong close relationship including traveling with family, raising children together, and was well known for being the best soccer dad. Glenn always had the scoop on the other teams stats, players and was always giving his children and teammates words of wisdom before every game. One of his favorite trips was a family to trip to Italy. It brought great joy to him when he could find time to teach his children new things, explaining things to them in a way they could understand. Glenn was so proud of his children and was a man devoted to Brenda and all of his family and friends.
He leaves behind a loving and supportive family, who all truly know, that the values instilled in him by his own mom, remains a light that will still shine brightly in all of them. He will be greatly missed by all who crossed his path.
Loving father of Caitlyn, Kyle, and Meghan. Devoted son of Sandra Hardwick and the late Patrick Oliver. Dear brother of Sean Oliver (Rose), Kevin Oliver (Donna), and Anne Troxell. Cherished uncle of Mitchell Oliver, Dylan Worthington, Nicholas Troxell, Trevor Oliver, Reina Troxell, Skylar Worthington, and Cydney Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 2-8pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 404 E. Liberty St. in Milford.
