Jack Herrington - born 5/22/28 in Hastings, MI. Lived in Detroit until 1965. Resident of Farmington Hills from 1966-1999 resided in Highland 1999 until the present. Passed away in the care of his family December 8, 2015. Jack is survived by his sister Elaine Major, wife Rosemary, sons Steve (Helen), Tim (Stella), Tom (Julie), 7 grandchildren: Ryan, Sean, Tait, Nicole, Brittany, Natalie, Jake, and his beloved dog Shane. Jack met Rosemary while working for GM. He then drove trucks for Midwest Casket until a near fatal traffic accident. In 1964, he became partners with his brother-in-law Bud Keenan. Jack eventually bought out Bud and ran Keford Collision for 33 years with his three sons. He moved the business to Novi at it’s current location. Jack enjoyed his family, going up north to East Jordan, MI, trapshooting, boating, and building and flying 1/4 scale RC planes. His laugh was infectious and he was always smiling.
Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11 AM. Pastor Randy Schlak to officiate. Friends may visit Friday from 2-9 PM.
