James Matthew Zoltowski, 60, of Milford, Michigan and beloved husband of Lisa for 32 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
He was born in Redford, Michigan on January 18, 1961 to the late Aloysius and Virginia Zoltowski, one of seven children. He graduated from Bishop Borgess High School in 1979. His father owned a body shop and Jim learned a lot about fixing cars from his Dad before he passed when Jim was only 21. He married the love of his life, Lisa Schneider, on March 18, 1989 and started a family.
Jim loved his family and was very proud of his children. He encouraged them to have life adventures and loved hearing about their experiences. He had a zest for adventure, loved to laugh, tell horrible jokes, and had a strong sense of confidence in his story telling.
He struggled with many health issues over the years but never let it dampen his spirit or will to live. His strength and positive attitude was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Jim loved spending time in Florida, fishing off the pier and enjoying the warm weather. He loved to drive, often taking the scenic route anywhere he went. He will be missed by many.
Loving father of Maxwell, Alison, and Rae. Dear brother of Karen Monge, David Zoltowski (Terry), John Zoltowski (the late Starr), Paul Zoltowski, Diane Miley (Matthew) and Mary Bourdage.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00pm at St Mary Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church 1955 E. Commerce St., Milford, MI 48381. Visitation begins at the church at 12:30pm.
