Obituary for Janette Faye Bageris

Janette Faye Bageris, a resident of Highland, passed away in the care of her family after injuries sustained in an automobile accident September 5, 2011. She was 47 years old.

Born May 15, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, Janette was the youngest of five children born to parents Bruce A. and Mary Mellissa (nee. Wymond) Wilcox. Janette and her siblings were raised in Novi where she attended Novi High School and graduated in 1982. Following high school, Janette continued at Oakland Community College and earned her Associates degree in Business Management. While attending classes at OCC, Janette met Alex Bageris. The two quickly became best friends, courted and fell in love. On December 27, 1987, the young couple was married and began their lives together. Janette and Alex were blessed by the births of their twins Mellissa and Tyler, and their son Trevor.

Janette was an avid scrapbooker who often spent entire weekends creating special albums for her family and friends. Her creative efforts will remain valuable treasures for generations to come.

Janette was the quintessential Team Mom for her family, her causes and her community. She loved life and always lived fully and enthusiastically.

Janette was welcomed in heaven where she joins her loving parents and dear brother Mark. In addition to Alex Bageris her best friend and beloved husband of 23 years, Janette is survived by her loving, adored children Mellissa, Tyler & Trevor; devoted family members brother Craig (Barb) Wilcox; sisters Cheryl (Michael) Wilcox-Long, and Patricia Journey; parents-in-law Margaret and Andrew Bageris; brother-in-law Ted Begaris; sisters-in-law Tina (Rick) Holland, Georgia (Dick) Cameron, Venus (Matt) Axtell, Athena (Mike) Bolger. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends join in mourning her passing and giving thanks to God for Janette�s life among them.

Funeral Service from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford Friday 2:00 PM. Pastor Scott Armstrong and Pastor Bartholomew Reed to officiate. Friends may gather Wednesday 6-9 PM and Thursday 2-9 PM.

Memorial Contributions encouraged to Alzheimer's Association and Milford High School Athletics.
