Jeffrey D. Hagman of Highland passed away peacefully in the early morning on April 2, 2015 surrounded by his beautiful wife and daughters at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was 59 years old.
Born on June 14, 1955 in Howell, He was the son of Gerald and Kathryn (Fleck) Hagman. Raised in Howell, he played baseball, football and basketball for Howell High School from which he graduated in 1973. In 1992 he graduated from Cleary University and in 2002, he married Deborah (nee. Zelenka) at their home in Highland.
Always an athlete, as he matured, he took up bowling and golf, which he loved with a passion because it kept him busy with good friends from the American Legion and the Highland Moose Lodge. The times he spent up north or in Fort Myers, Florida were among the times in his life he most enjoyed. He spent all of his working life with the General Motors Proving Grounds. He loved life, the gifts of family and friends and good times with them and fought hard to hold on as long as he could.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie; children, Monica, Amelia, Chelsea, Julia Arce and Nick Arce; parents Gerald and Kathryn Hagman; grandchildren, Jayden Tatiana, Lola, Ryder and Xander; sister, Ann Paruk; nieces, Kristyn and Amy Paruk; his loving dog, Pudge and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who join with his family in mourning his passing and giving thanks to God for his life among them.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Hagman.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty Street, Milford on Tuesday, April 7 at 12 PM. Rev. Bryant Anderson to officiate. Burial Highland Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 3-9 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. For further information please call 248-684-6645.
