Obituary for Jerome L. Olrich

Jerome L. Olrich, of Highland, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old.

Born August 14, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to parents Earl and Elizabeth (nee. McEntee) Olrich. Jerome is survived by his wife of 56 years, Darlena; children, Laura (Richard) Douglas of White Lake, Sue (David) Thompson of Northville, Joseph Olrich of Fenton and Dawn (Frank) Freeman of Florenceville, TX; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Percival and his brother Bill Olrich, as well as extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Jeff in 2003 and youngest son John in 1995; his parents, his sister, Elizabeth and his brother Richard.

Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd, Highland, on
Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. The Rev. Fr. Wayne Ureel to officiate.

Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, March 21 from 3 - 9 PM. Rosary 7 PM.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Knights of Columbus, Council #8500, Church of the Holy Spirit, Highland, Michigan 48356
