John "Jack" Springhetti, a resident of White Lake, former resident of Lake Sherwood in Commerce Twp., WWII Navy Veteran, and retiree of General Motors in Pontiac, died on August 6, 2019 at the age of 96.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Castiglione Springhetti; his sons, John (Ann) Springhetti and David (Annie) Springhetti; his daughters, Christine (Eric) Huff and Marianne Uhazie; grandchildren, Claire, Jessica, Carly, and DJ Springhetti; Mitchell and Brandy Knudson; Natalie and Nicholas Uhazie and their father, Jack Uhazie; siblings, Marilyn (the late Donald) Fishel and David (Bonnie) Springhetti, sister-in-law, Mary Jean Springhetti, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Springhetti; sister, Bernadine (Louis) Acqua, and brother, Jerome Springhetti.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, on Friday, August 9, from 5-8PM with Rosary at 7PM. Please consider allowing extra time for travel to the funeral home due to the Milford Memories traffic and Main Street road closures.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1955 E. Commerce Road, Milford, on Saturday, August 10, at 12 Noon, with gathering beginning at the church at 11:30AM. Burial will follow at White Lake Cemetery. A luncheon (at a location to be determined) will follow the graveside services.
