Obituary for Joseph Edward Sanavage

Joseph Edward Sanavage of Wixom, MI died on October 8, 2020.. He was 64 years old.

Joe was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 18, 1956. He is the son of Edward and the late Evelyn Sanavage. He is survived by his siblings, Beth (Joe) Tomasi, Sandra Richards and Rodney (Denise) Sanavage., many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.


Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, 48381 on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 from 4 - 7 pm. Rosary at 6 pm.

The visitation and rosary will be held outdoors. Please plan accordingly. ***Those in attendance will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.***

Requiem Mass will be held at St. Dominic Chapel, 765 N Hickory Ridge Rd, Highland, MI 48357 on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at 10 AM. The Most Rev. Robert Neville to officiant. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfiel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Dominic Chapel.

Dress Code for Funerals: Ladies must wear dresses or skirts at least covering the knee, with at least short sleeves, not low-cut in either front or back, nor exceedingly tight; they are also requested to wear a head covering in the church. No slacks, please. Men must wear both a jacket and a tie. All are kindly asked to observe a reverential silence while in church. Your cooperation in these matters is most appreciated.
