Justin James Short, 43, of Wixom, Michigan, went on to his final resting place September 15, 2021.
Devoted husband to Angie, and proud father to Devin Andrew Short (reunited with Justin in Heaven), Dustin James Short (16) and Caleb James Short (9). Justin is survived by his parents Bob and Cyndi Short, brother to Bobby Short (Sandra Short), Kristy Roberts (Johnnie Roberts), Uncle to 15, and Great Uncle to 1.
Justin was a hard working man that put his family first. He had a gift of working with his hands to build and fix things since he was a boy. He provided for his family working for Design Comfort Co. as a heating and cooling technician. He was quick to help others when they had a need and never expected anything in return. He did every job to the best of his ability.
Justin's family was his first priority and greatest accomplishment. Together he and Angie built a wonderful life together. Justin loved spending time with his family by going for rides on his Harley, fishing with his boys, baseball and football games, mini bikes and go karts, or just working together in the garage. He never wanted to miss a thing. His family was his heartbeat. He was so proud of his wife and boys.
Justin made an impact on all who were around him. He had a tough looking exterior but was just one big teddy bear. His humor and laugh were contagious, you never knew what he would say next! He was sentimental, strong, loyal, proud of his roots, and he loved deeply. He loved a beautiful sunrise on his boat and his fishing pole in his hand. Justin was artistic and had the ability to out dance everyone no matter the occasion! He was the life of the party.
Justin touched so many hearts and changed so many lives as a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, or friend. We will miss that big laugh and those big bear hugs. He was one of a kind. Thank you, Lord, for lending him to us for this short while.
