Obituary for Kevin Joseph Boudreau, Jr.

Kevin, age 43, of South Pasadena, FL passed away on November 19, 2021. Kevin was the beloved son of Sherry and Kevin Boudreau, loving step-son of Leslie Boudreau, loving brother of Brian (Kelly), Katy (Josh), and Rachel, father to Luke, and uncle to Jaden, Clarissa, and Zach. Kevin returned to his heavenly home to be with his momma Sherry, and his grandparents Clement (Boots) and Patricia Boudreau, and many other relatives.

Kevin spent his early years in Ferndale, Michigan and moved to the Milford area in 1991. Kevin was born deaf and attended the deaf educational program at Bloomfield Hills Lahser where he made many life-long friends. While in high school, Kevin worked at Farmer Jack’s with his mom. He played Center Field on the Varsity Baseball team at Lahser where he lettered as a Junior and Senior. After graduating in 1997, Kevin attended Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. where he also played on the college baseball team as an outfielder.

Kevin eventually moved to Florida where he enjoyed the ocean, fishing, and being on the beach. He made numerous friends while living in South Pasadena since 2017 and loved playing cornhole with all of them. Many times, Kevin’s friends have told his father that Kevin lights up the room. Kevin loved making people laugh and laughing was one of his favorite things in life. He would send us daily updates about the Florida weather and beautiful photographs of the ocean and blue skies. He worked as a landscaper with some wonderful people, many of whom who described Kevin as hard worker.

He was a great brother to Brian, Katy, and Rachel and would always tell his father how proud he was of them. He loved baseball as a young boy and going to see the Detroit Tigers with his dad. His favorite moment at the games was waiting for his dad to drop mustard on his shirt. Kevin became a huge fan of the Tampa sports teams, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady. He was lucky enough to see a championship in the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, and the Rays play in the World Series.
He was a huge lover of animals, going to the beach, sports, and weather forecasts (we would receive frequent updates of the weather in Florida with the humidity factor circled). He was proud of his lawn cutting. He had a huge heart for all of his family and friends. We know he is riding his golf cart with his mom and his dog Lucky up in Heaven and can now hear the birds chirping and listen to music.
