Lynn Warren, a longtime resident of Milford, MI and Polk City, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 22, 2015 after a long valiant journey with dementia. Known to everyone as Bud, he lived a long life full of many blessings. He was loved for his quiet calm dignity, curiosity about new places, and loyal to family and friends. He was born June 27, 1930 in Detroit. He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a union man, belonging to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union for 60 years. Longtime member of the Family of Motor Coach Association.
His wife of over 50 years, Barbara, preceded him in death in 2007.
He is survived by children, Susan Linton, Karen (Sue Tippet), Lynn (Shirley), grandchildren, Ben (Megan), Kaitlin, Matthew, Heather, Amelia, Xin-Xin and his first great-grandson, Braeden born this month.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 in Milford. Details will be made available directly by the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
