Margaret Catherine Cylkowski, age 91, and a former resident of Clinton Twp. and Detroit, passed away on May 10, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Joseph Cylkowski in 2001, daughters, Martha and Bernadette Cylkowski, a son, Kevin, and great granddaughter, Charlie. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Cylkowski of Detroit, Kathleen Cylkowski of NC, Susan (Bill Zeising) Macdonald of Costa Rica, Theresa (David) Schans of IL, Mary (David) Ponte of Midland, Aileen (Bruno Copiatti) Cylkowski of France; sons, Michael (Anne Heffernan) Cylkowski of AZ, Patrick (Beverly Baker) Cylkowski of Huron Twp., Joseph (Joan) Cylkowski of Holly, Tom (Virginia) Cylkowski of California, Earl Vincent (Shelley) of Georgia; grandchildren, Daniel Cylkowski, Nicole and Ramsay Macdonald, Susan (David) Lowmiller, Kathleen Cylkowski, 2nd Lt. John (Sarah) Cylkowski, USMC, Angelina Fisch-Cylkowski, Jessica (Brandon) Hoffman, Andrew (Sarah), Michael, Margaret L. Cylkowski, Elisabeth, Noah, and Mariah Ponte, Anna and Claire Cylkowski, Ella and Naomie Copiatti, Zachary and Zo� Cylkowski, Anna Ren Miller, Clare Miller, Jonathan (Patricia) Schans, Peter Schans, Anne (Bruce) Benda; great grandchildren, Aidan Hoffman, Alexandra Lowmiller, Amelia Cylkowski, Adam and Peter Schans, Hannah, Edward, and Nancy Benda. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral Liturgy from Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 N. Harvey Lake Rd., Highland, Saturday, May 15th, 12:00 Noon. Fr. Leo Lulko to officiate. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit on Monday, May 17, at 1PM. Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford Thursday 5-9 PM & Friday 5-9 PM. Rosary Friday evening 7 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
