Marilyn Marshall (née Gunn) passed away unexpectedly in Novi, Michigan on March 8th, 2022 at the age of 86.
Marilyn is survived by her two daughters; Ronda Marshall (Gary Scheets) and Sandra Noble. Along with her grandchildren; Holly Schmidt (Michael Schmidt), Ashton Scheets, and Billy Scheets (Lydia Scheets). And, her many great-grandchildren; Justin Chubb, Hannah Noble, Jackson Noble, Jessica Sears, and Brittany Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Marshall. Along with her parents and brother. And, her beloved grandson; David Noble. As well as her much loved son-in-law, James Noble.
Marilyn was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 12th, 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gunn. She graduated from Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan in 1953. She married her long-time sweetheart, William Marshall, on March 6th, 1956 in Beattyville, Kentucky. They had two children together during their marriage; Sandra Kay and Ronda Kay. She also worked at Guardian Photo in Novi, Michigan for many years - as a Photo Technician.
She was also a dedicated Elvis Presley fan - collecting a plethora of memorabilia and heading multiple fan clubs in the Metro Detroit area during her youth. In her later years, she would always say she felt the most at peace sitting in her chair listening to the soothing sounds of Elvis.
Marilyn was a devoted mother and grandmother - and, absolutely loved anytime when she could be together with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
