Mrs. Marion A. Biscovich, formerly of Pontiac, passed away in the care of her family August 29, 2013 She was 88 years old.
Born July 16, 1925, Marion Coon was one of 16 children; she and her siblings were raised in Pontiac.
Marion met the young John Biscovich and soon fell in love. A brief courtship led to marriage on December 21st--a marriage spanning nearly 52 years. The young married couple made their first home together in Pontiac where they raised their two children. Marion was a dedicated wife, loving mother and an excellent homemaker. She loved nature and especially flowers and was fond of all animals but, in particular, birds.
After the passing of her husband, John, Marion remained in the family home on Sheffield Street in Pontiac where she had been for 58 years total, prior to relocating to her own apartment just a few years ago. Marion loved to laugh and did so at every opportunity. She was a quick study and learned to love Wii Bowling video game within three tries. Wii Bowling became one of her most recent favorite past-times which kept her young at heart. Ever the joyous spirit, Marion was loved by all children. She was a favorite caretaker of the many children for whom she cared for over her years.
Marion was preceded in death by John (d.1999), her beloved husband of 52 years.
She is survivied by her son John "Sonny" (Linda) Biscovich; daugher Theresa (Jim) Garron and daughter #2 Theres� (Ray) Chenowetch; grandchildren Katrina (Matt) Bailey, Tiffany Biscovich, Pete Hunt, Kristie Newton, and Brelle Biscovich; great-grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlin, Brynn, Fionna, Mattalin, Ciara, Emma, Allison, Arissa, Payton and one on the way. Marion is also survived by her sister Wilma (Dave) Lukat; special nephew Andy (Voula) Ferich; extended family and many dear friends.
Funeral Service to be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford on Saturday, August 31st at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Pontiac to follow.
