Obituary for Mary Anne Dine

Mary Anne Dine, a resident of White Lake, died on Thursday, August 14th, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was 59 years old. Born October 29, 1948 to Wayne and Pauline (nee. Bonenfant) in Detroit. Mary Anne was raised in a large family with whom she always remained close. These were her first lessons in love which would later extend to her own growing family.

Mary Anne graduated from the University of Detroit in the late sixties. While attending U of D, she met Donald and was later married August 20, 1971 in Detroit. Mary Anne and Donald remained in the Detroit area where they began their first home together and began to raise their family. In 1977, the family built a home and came to Milford, now White Lake, where Mary lived until her death.

She and Donald enjoyed Civil War history and often took their family to vacation to historical Civil War locations like Gettysburg, Fort Michilimackinac, and many others. Mary Anne had a passion for reading, writing, antiquing, and sewing. She was a longtime member at St. Mary�s Catholic Church of Milford.

Mary Anne was patient and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was generous and genuine with her affection. Her family and dear grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; children, Gigi, Donald, John (Jennifer), Elizabeth, Margaret; grandchildren, Fernando �Alex,� Killian, Delaney and many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1955 E. Commerce, Milford, Monday, 10 AM with Fr. Ron Anderson officiating. Family and friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty, Milford, Sunday 2-9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children�s Hospital - Ref # 21849776 & American Diabetes Assoc. For further information call 248-684-6645.
