Mary Lou St. Henry, of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin and formerly of Ferndale, Michigan, passed away on February 14, 2014 at the age of 84.
Mary Lou has gone home to her Father and Creator, whose compassion and grace she never doubted in life. She was welcomed in heaven by her best friend and love of her life, Robert (Bob) St. Henry whom she met while working at Forsters Flowers in the Fisher Building, and was wed to on February 3, 1951.
Mary Lou had a fantastic and often unexpected sense of humor, a great love of the arts, which she truly enjoyed sharing with others, and took great pleasure in serving her friends and family in any way she was able.
Mary Lou was greatly devoted to her churches, First United Methodist Church of Ferndale, MI and Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay, WI where she served as a member of the WELCA Quilters Group and on the Floral Committee among others.
Mary Lou greatly valued time spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, great granddaughters, her friends in the Liberty Grove Historical (or as she called it Hysterical) Society, and her coffee clutch ladies.
Though Mary Lou will be greatly missed by all that knew her, she has left us with many happy and lasting memories. We all count ourselves lucky to have known and loved her, and she will remain with us in our hearts and minds, always and forever.
