Obituary for Michael E. Meade

Michael Mike E. Meade, a resident of Fenton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. He was 51 years old.

He enjoyed his fifteen years working with Rite Aid doing inventory control. A task that seems impossible to most, Mike excelled. His co-workers were a second family that will miss him deeply.

The first time Mike saw Nancy he kindly offered her a seat at the bar next to him, unable to pass up the opportunity to speak with her. The two quickly became friends and soon fell in love. Over the next years, the couple would share much more. Enjoying one anothers company every moment. Day in and day out, Mike would remind Nancy, I love you forever and a day.

Mike was an easy-going spirit who always went with the flow. His presence encouraged calmness and ease in those around him. Mikes happiness and light heartedness was contagious. He was always having a good time all the time, especially when he was with his family and friends or singing karaoke with Nancy.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Meade; father-in-law, Gleen Reed; and a his brother-in-law, David Reed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Nancy (nee. Reed) and son, Glenn Kroeger; mother, Joyce Meade; sister & brother, Brenda Mortimer, Tim (Kim) Meade; mother-in-law, Marion Reed and a host of extended family members and friends who mourn the passing of a great man while giving thanks to God for his life among them.

Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty, Milford, on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11 AM. Pastor Thomas Green will Officiate. Burial at West Highland Cemetery.
