Nanette Moesta, 87, of Howell, Michigan passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022.
A true matriarch. Nanette was not only a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a devoted Christian as well, strong in her faith, always sharing the Good Word of Jesus Christ very chance she got.
She was born on July 15, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, the only child of Walter and Dorothy Perleberg. She married Donald Moesta and raised five children. Somehow, Nan always found time to give to others. She was selfless, generous, and always put other people first. Her husband started a company, Universal Pump, that she helped him run not just being the secretary but helping any way she could. She remained active in her church at Highland Congregational Church with bible classes, and even starting a ministry called Prayer Marker Ministries, giving gifts to others in need. She had a way of connecting with people by being non-judgmental, and welcoming that others tended to gravitate. She and her husband also spent time in Central Lake, Michigan as well as Florida. In 2003, her husband, Donald, passed away while they were living in Florida. She then moved back to Michigan to be closer to family.
She will be greatly missed by not only family and friends but all who crossed her path. Matthew 25:23 Well done, good and faithful servant…
Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Pamela Ann Moesta, Thomas Owen Moesta (Lori), David Wayne Moesta (Kristy) and the late Cheryl Lynn Moesta, and the late Michael Brian Moesta (Mary).
