Pansy “Sue” Hannan, of Fowlerville and more formerly of Howell and Milford, MI, passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2021. She was 79 years old.
Sue in her younger years had a passion for community service. Early her career started at a local assisted living home caring for people in need of additional care. Her service’s even led to helping a young man, very well known in the community, who was suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease, meet one of his favorite idol’s Jerry Lewis. She was able to schedule for Jerry to be flown in close to the facility, as he was visiting the Metro Detroit Area. She became an integral part of many fundraisers throughout the Milford community. One of her most recents was with the Milford Police Dispatch Unit, helping a young man who suffered from a tragic accident within the village. Sue went to become a licensed cosmetologist and eventually became the owner of the Milford Busy Bee, a salon within the village. Continuing her services with the community.
Daughter of the late Escom and Parnie Blackburn, Sue is survived by her children, Ken Hannan, Phillip (Julia) Hannan, and Brenda Hannan; grandchildren, Eric Hannan, Shane and Shawn Hannan, Patrick Lemons and Kailey Pauley; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Pat (Gary) Sessions, Don and Jim Blackburn, and Betty Blackburn; also many extended family and dear friends.
Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hannan, and sister, Doris Blackburn
