Ronald Gene Nevorski, age 80 and a resident of Milford, died at home in the care of his family on August 21, 2019 after having been recently diagnosed with cancer.

He is survived by Diane, his beloved wife of over fifty-nine years; his son, James Douglas Nevorski (Theresa Fisher); his daughters, Ronda Jean (the late Todd Wellington Coe) Coe and Renee' Lynn (Gary) Nevorski-Collins; grandchildren, Chadd (Bethany) Wellington Coe, Brandon Gene Coe, Derrick Allen Shubert, Adrian Noelle (Rob) Sexton, Alexander Christopher Shubert; great grandchildren, Natalie Sexton, Liam, Makenzie, and Kayla Coe, Robbie Sexton and Grace Sexton; brother-in-law, Doug Wimberly, and many extended family members and dear friends.

Ron was born on December 12, 1938 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Leonard and Anita Nevorski. At age seventeen he was sent to Korea and proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp. When he returned from service, he resumed high school in Mishawaka, Indiana, where he met Diane Wimberly, the love of his life. They wed on May 21, 1960 and were blessed with the births of three children, as he made his career as a representative for various paint, underbody coating companies that serviced the Big 3 automotive companies . Ron was ever a devoted husband and father, who watched out for his family, and to whom he was generous to a fault. He lived by, and taught his children how to live by the Marine motto: Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome.

For the last twenty years, Ron was a devoted member of Milford American Legion Post 216, where he enjoyed many friends, served as an officer, and proudly served on the post’s Military Funeral Honors Team. Ron, Semper Fi.
