Ronald Lee Creese, born October 4, 1945, passed away peacefully with his children and friends by his side on August 25, 2016.
Ronald was born to parents, Richard and Altha Creese, in Coraeopolis, Pennsylvania. From an early age, Ron loved the outdoors and going on adventures with his brothers, sisters, and cousins.
Ron was an avid fisherman and spent most of his free time fishing with his children, family, and friends.
Ron was an accomplished master carpenter for forty years. He was active in all aspects of construction, including management and supervisory positions. Ron was in charge of construction on several high rise buildings and malls. There was nothing that Ron could not build.
Ron enjoyed ballroom dancing, kayaking, boating, and he had a fond love of 1950’s Doo Wop music! His all time favorite was Kenny Vance.
Ron was a caring and loving father, son, brother, husband, uncle, and grandpa. Most of all, Ron was a devoted Christian who always loved his neighbor, and helped whenever he could. His love for children was easy to see when he played with his grandchildren.
Ron was compassionate and lived each day to its fullest. He passed on a great deal of love and wisdom to his children, but most of all, he passed on the tradition of always loving each other and helping when you can.
Ron is survived by his brothers and sisters, Richard (Carol) Creese, Dana (Wes) Hathaway, Neal Creese, Barbara (Bill) Gallagher, Marcia (Ralph) Gilmore; children, David (Teresa) Mansell, Jennifer Creese, Keith (Becky) Mansell, Jessica (Mike) Dewitt; grandchildren, Amanda (Ted) Kennedy, Christina Mansell, Hayden Creese, Jayna Mansell, Keith Mansell Jr., Brian Mansell, Michael Mansell, Jason Dewitt, Molly Dewitt, Chase Mansell; great granddaughter, Lilah Creese, and his very close and loving friend, Marlyn Cordero-Ruiz.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Milford Senior Center, 1050 Atlantic St., Milford, on Sunday, September 18, from 1-4PM.
