Obituary for Rosemary C. Verville

My dear Mom, Rosemary Verville, a Princess Warrior and believer in Jesus Christ, has completed her mission here on earth and now resides in her new home in heaven.

She is a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, a servant and best of all a child of God. Here on earth she was a retired middle school educator. Throughout her life she volunteered in churches and other organizations; then in retirement she extended volunteering in hospitals by praying, making quilts and bringing comfort to those hurting.

Her passion was her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, camping and traveling.

Rosemary can be summed up in four words; feisty, faithful, fighter and free.

- Feisty in that she had expectations that people should do the job they are paid for; when at rehab she kept the nurses and aids busy.

- Faithful in that she loved the house of God and made every effort to be there when church was open. She always attended Sunday school and always brought something to share with everyone.

- Fighter, a medical mishap made Rosemary a paraplegic but she did not let that stop her from doing what she wanted. She fought cancer for over 2 years.

- Free, she is now free. Free from suffering and pain. Free from her scooter. She can now walk, run, jump and dance.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-three years, Fred, in May of this year, a daughter, Wendy Roach, and brother, Paul (Jill) Koller. She is survived by her children, Fred S. (Marylyn) Verville, Vickie Mootz, Rory (Diane) Verville, Tod (Grace) Verville and Christine Verville; grandchildren, Michelle and Michael Verville, Ricky and David Thompson, Julie Smith, Lea, Angie and David Verville, Tod Jr., Tatiana, Tiffany and Troy Verville, Brianna and Arianna Gomez, Daniel (Darcy) Roach and Nicole Roach; her sister, Kathy (Tom) Poplawski; nieces, Emily (Negasi) Tewoldemedhin, Sarah Poplawski, Marilissa, Noel, and Elizabeth Koller; nephew, Adam (Chia) Poplawski; son-in-law, Greg Roach as well as 11 great-grandchildren and many close friends and extended family members.
