Rosemary E. Klien, age 84 of Commerce Twp., and a former resident of Dearborn Heights, died on May 9, 2010.
She is survived by Edward J. Klien, her beloved husband of over sixty-one years; sons, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Klien, Kevin (Deborah) Klien; daughter, Renee Klien; grandchildren, Christopher and Rachel Klien; brothers, Harvey (Loretta) Groesbeck, Charles (Irene) Groesbeck; sister, Alice (Joseph Schwartz) Groesbeck and many extended family members and dear friends including Haydee Mascunana and Rosalie (Victor) Hemler. She was preceded in death by brothers, Noah (Millie) Groesbeck, Clarence (Helen) Groesbeck and sisters, Irene (Ernest), Bernadine (Carl) Pallas and Eugenia.
Rosemary was born in Warren, Michigan on December 4, 1925, and graduated as valedictorian from Lincoln High School in Vandyke, Michigan in 1942. Rosemary and Edward were married at St. Clement�s Church in Centerline on August 27, 1949, and were long time members of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Dearborn Heights. In retirement they moved to Milford and St. Mary�s Parish in 1998. They were both deeply devoted to their family and church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary�s Catholic Church, 1955 E. Commerce Road, Milford, on Saturday, May 15, at 10AM with Fr. Ron Anderson officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, on Friday, May 14, 3-8PM, with a Rosary at 7PM. Memorials may be made in her name to the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, 26530 Eureka Road, Taylor, MI 48180. For further information please phone 248-684-6645.
