Obituary for Scott Edward Larson

Scott Edward Larson, of Commerce Twp., passed away March 8, 2012. He was 20 years old.

Scott was born on February 27, 1992 to loving parents, Carole and Mark and proud sister, Amanda.

He was the captain of the Varsity Football team and graduated from Lakeland High School. Scott attended Universal Technical Institute in Chicago where he studied auto-diesel-industrial technology. He planned to obtain a Bachelor degree in management from Ferris State University.

Scott may have been taken from us too soon but he will live on in our memories and stories. He will especially be remembered for his heart of gold. You could not have met a better friend.

Beloved son of Carole and Mark, loving brother of Amanda, cherished grandson of Patricia and Roy Larson. Godson of Michael Gay and Julie Vasquez. Nephew of Todd and Leslie Larson, Catherine Gay, Mary Jo Stewart, Sheila Lloyd, Julie and Art Vasquez, John and Becky Gay, Michael and Katie Gay. Treasured cousin of Natalie, TJ, Tommy, Jimmy, Steven, Bill, Jenna, Brian, Michael, Jack and J. Welcomed home to heaven by grandparents Jack and Catherine Gay and uncle Bill Lloyd.

Funeral Service to be held from Commerce United Methodist Church, 1155 North Commerce Rd., Commerce Twp. Thursday, March 15th, 11 AM with gathering beginning at 9:30 AM. The Dr. Rev. Deane B. Wyllys to officiate. Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford on Tuesday from 6 - 9 PM and on Wednesday from 2 - 9 PM. A Scripture Service is planned for Wednesday, 5:30 pm, and will be led by Fr. Bernard Owens.
