THERESA AMERO NEPTUNE, age 77
March 14, 1936 - October 13, 2013

Born in Washburn, Maine on March 14, 1936, Theresa lived in the rural areas and small towns of Piscataquis County, Maine. She attended schools in Milo, Maine and graduated high school in Old Town, Maine, 1954. After graduation, she moved to Stamford, Connecticut where she attended Merrill Business School. She worked at a number of firms in the real estate, construction, and medical industries, including many years as the Office Manager at a dermatology practice. In order to assist the doctors at that practice, she was trained as an EMT, and worked as a volunteer with the Stamford Ambulance Corps. Theresa was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, where she served as a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister, and a Catechism teacher.

In 1981 she moved to Niantic, Connecticut. She married Peter Neptune, her beloved husband, in 1982 and they enjoyed years of happiness together. While in Niantic she worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses. She studied Calligraphy and then taught after-school programs in Calligraphy for various schools in the area. She taught Calligraphy in adult education for many years and gave private lessons. She is a Past President of Mysticalligraphers and a member of the New Haven Calligraphy Guild. She also was a Volunteer at the East Lyme Library. She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, where she served as a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Pastoral Council (including two years as President).

In 2005 she moved to White Lake, Michigan in order to live closer to her family. She enjoyed working at the Pet Supplies Plus locations in White Lake and Bloomfield Hills, where she was loved by the employees (as a friend and confidante) and the customers (for her advice on pet ownership). She was an active member of St. Patrick Parish in White Lake, Michigan.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Anne Lupinacci , and by her husband, Peter Neptune. She is survived by: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Cory (Julia) Lupinacci of Michigan, and Jeffrey Lupinacci of Pennsylvania; a stepdaughter Sherrilee (Brian) Perry; a brother, Ronald (Jean) Amero of Maine; and 6 grandchildren: Jessica (Austin) Dobbs, Kevin Lupinacci, Alexander Lupinacci, Ashley Lupinacci, Jordan Perry, and Alexandra Perry.

Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty, Milford Wednesday 3-8 PM. Prayer Service Wednesday 7 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Patrick Parish, 9086 Hutchins St., White Lake Twp., Thursday, October 17 at 11 AM.

Memorials may be made to The Capuchin Soup Kitchen of Detroit.
