Obituary for Timothy William Mahon

Timothy William Mahon, 67, of Highland passed away June 2, 2009, at his residence, in the loving care of his family after a brief battle with cancer. The son of the late Albert and Margaret Mahon; Tim was born on New Years Day in Detroit. He graduated from St. Gabriels High School in 1960. For seventeen years Tim worked as a Sales Representative with Michlin Chemical Corporation and Gibraltar National Corporation, then Quickrete for twenty-five years where he received numerous awards for top sales. He had a quick wit and loved to laugh and was blessed with a wonderful gift of connecting with others. He was loved by all who knew him. In the company of his children and grandkids, Tim especially enjoyed spending time up north, at his cottage in Caseville, Michigan, where card games, sporting events and St. Patricks Day celebrations became memorable traditions.
