Tyler James Lee, a resident of Highland Township died on October 27, 2020 at the age of 28.
Tyler was born in Flint on April 29, 1992, the son of James and Sherry (Burlew) Lee and grew up in Grand Blanc where he was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School and a part of the marching band. He attended Mott Community College and Washtenaw Community College where he studied Art. He was intelligent, creative, and a talented artist, who loved drawing, playing music on the clarinet, bassoon, keyboard, and drums, and reading and writing. He loved video games and gaming, especially Dungeons & Dragons, and loved hanging out at hobby shops.
He was a social being who enjoyed his friends, trips to Cincinnati to see his friends there, trips to the west side of the state where he enjoyed Lake Michigan, and countless other spontaneous, unplanned adventures that he embarked on.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Burlew and James and Fay Lee. He leaves his partner, Tige McDonald; his parents, James and Sherry Lee; his brother, Corey (Bre) Lee; grandma, Carol Burlew; his uncles and aunts, Bruce (MaryAnn) Burlew, Wendy Lotz, Bobbi Glover, Belinda (Jeff) Smith, Frank (Cisa) Lee, Cheryl Lee, and Joanne McCracken; cousins, Keith and Jennifer Wilson, beloved aunt, LouAnn Arndt, his best friend, Brittany Kokott, his cat, Ophelius, and many other dear friends who join his family in mourning his passing and giving thanks for his life among them.
A public Memorial Service will be held when it is safe to gather.
Memorials may be made in Tyler’s name to the Livingston Co. Humane Society or to one's favorite local animal rescue.
