Obituary for Walter Joe Faron

Walter Joe Faron, age 69, of Fenton, passed away in the care of his family on December 13, 2013.

Joe was born on July 31, 1944 to Walter and Anna Faron in Detroit, Michigan. Following graduation from Mumford High School in Detroit, Joe enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corp and served in the Vietnam War. Upon return from the war, Joe began working in electrical supply and was a successful business owner for many years. He had a good heart and continued to have a presence in the business even after his retirement. Every morning Joe got a newspaper and coffee so he could do the daily crossword puzzle. Sports played a large role in his life, he liked to play hockey and softball in his younger days, golfing and fishing in his older years and was an annual U of M football season ticket holder. He had a love of gardening, Euchre and his favorite companion, his dog Greta. Joe was a proud, loving dad to his sons, Jason (Kat) Faron, Ryan (Tyfanie) Faron and Brandon Faron, and he had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, Hailie, Avery and R.J., and grandsons Declan and Seamus and their mother Heather Faron. He also leaves his sister, Judy Faron and brother Roger (Robin) Faron, many loving extended family members and dear friends.
